Students are not to arrive on school grounds prior to 8:05 a.m.   This is a safety issue as there are no teachers on duty until their workday begins at 8:05 a.m. Your cooperation in this matter is greatly appreciated.

 **Students are marked tardy after 8:15**

Throughout the year we try to keep parents informed of early release days, parent conferences and holidays; however, the school year calendar is in the Student Handbook as well as on our website.

No School, delayed openings, or early release announcements will be broadcast on radio stations WHYN, WTIC, WAQY, WMAS, WSPR, and also on WGGB-TV-40.

Our school has adopted a new system of technology which will allow all students to receive a pre-recorded message stating early releases and delayed openings and no school.
 

Late Buses will be available Monday-Thursday for students participating in after-school activities.  The buses will leave Powder Mill at 4:00 p.m. Late buses will not run on faculty meeting days (usually the last Tuesday of each month).

All Tolland  and Metco students must personally request a late bus through the office before 10:00 a.m.
