Student Announcements:

Just a reminder to seniors – please continue to check the scholarships that are available in guidance as new ones are continually added.   Also, juniors please note that the deadline for the Richard Atkinson “Striving for Excellence” Scholarship is March 26, 2010.

 

Attention seniors:  The Van J. Farrier Performing Arts Scholarship is now available in Guidance.  If you have a minimum 3.0 GPA, plan to attend college in the fall of 2010 and plan to major or minor in performing arts or demonstrate that performing arts has been and will be a significant part of their education and life.

 

There will be a National Honor Society meeting on Tuesday, March 9th, at 7:00 a.m. in the auditorium.  All members are expected to attend.

 

There will be an Administrative Homeroom on Monday March 8 to pass out the Program of Studies and schedule information to all classes. Scheduling will take place on March 15, 16, 17.

 

Sophomore Class Officer will be meeting on Tuesday afternoon, March 9, in room 147.


The ASVAB test will be administered in the Library on Wednesday, March 10. Please sign up at the career center.

 

Attention all seniors – the student graduation committee’s first meeting will take place on Tuesday, March 16, at 2:15 in Mr. Trzasko’s room .  All seniors are welcome!

Parent Conferences will be held on Tuesday, March 9th, from 4-7 in the gym.  Please remind your parents.

Celebrate Foreign Language Month with an Information Scavenger Hunt!  Find the answers to these language and culture related questions to win prizes.  Answers must be turn in to Mrs. Galanek by 2:10 p.m.  In case of a tie, time of submission will determine the winner.  Bonne chance!  Buena Suerte!    Question of the day:    “Name one European country that does not currently use the Euro.”
